Description of problem: This is an anticipatory bug to track progress of nvk feature reaching fedora rawhide. The following features are going to merge upstream any time soon. Ensure that they land together in fedora rawhide rpm, and the various components work together as expected. - Dave Airlie, Draft: enable support for new uapi features https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/nouveau/mesa/-/merge_requests/150/ - 20230720 Danilo Krummrich - [PATCH drm-misc-next v8 00/12] DRM GPUVA Manager & Nouveau VM_BIND UAPI @ https://lore.kernel.org/dri-devel/20230720001443.2380-1-dakr@redhat.com/T/#m88d67c231b63b7340b22dc2a4d1102eed840df00 Also perhaps some documentation/blog-post on how a user can get a setup working, and a sample program to compile and run. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): next fedora release - fedora-39 Getting it early into rawhide, will give lead time for ironing out bugs before fedora-39. How reproducible: NA Steps to Reproduce: 1. install latest mesa, kernel, rusticl and vulkan tools 2. try something Actual results: some thing or the other doesn't work, or at worst crashes. Expected results: stuff should work normally. vulkaninfo should show that nouveau card is available. vkcube should work via the nouveau GPU. It should be possible to compile opencl/spirv programs and and execute via nouveau GPU. Additional info: I have a laptop with hybrid intel-haswell-HD4600 graphics with kepler-era nvidia GT740m mobile headless GPU.
